Overview

Our professional staff provides skilled nursing care and rehabilitation services in a comfortable and compassionate environment. We offer a wide range of services including physical, occupational and speech therapies, pain management and wound care — helping residents recover from medical conditions with dignity while receiving personal attention and quality care. Our team of healthcare professionals is comprised of registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), certified nursing assistants (CNAs), social workers, therapists, recreation professionals and a dietitian.

Short-Term Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation therapy plays a unique role in helping you recover from illness or injury, with a goal of returning you to a more independent lifestyle. Short-term rehabilitation is available for individuals who have spent three days as a hospital inpatient within 30 days of admission to The House of the Good Shepherd.

Services offered to both short-term stay patients and long-term care residents on site include:

  • Special Diets
  • Oxygen Therapy
  • Wound Care
  • Pain Management
  • Psychiatry

Off-site services include orthopedics, complex wound care, and dialysis.

These services may be covered by Medicare and/or Medicaid.  Patients and residents will be informed of any out-of-pocket expenses prior to initiation.
